Common Questions

In-person circles are usually held at my home — sometimes around my fire pit, and sometimes indoors.
I live in Chicago’s Far North Side, near Pulaski & Foster. You will receive my address after registering for a circle — once I’ve had a chance to vet you (for safety purposes) and at least two days prior to circle day.

As an a somewhat socially-awkward introvert, I deeply understand the apprehension of walking into a space where you’re the new person. And, I encourage you to be courageous — come anyway!
The community of sisters and genderqueer kin who’ve taken this risk over the years have consistently reported feeling truly welcomed and grateful that they made the decision to step out of their comfort zones and come.
We are a very welcoming group of kind humans. We want to share this space with other kindred spirits. And by “we” I mean those who regularly gather with me (which ebbs and flows).

If the price of admission isn’t accessible to you, please reach out! There is no shame in asking for support.

If fewer than three people register for a circle, I will cancel it and issue those who have registered a refund.
If fewer than three people show up for a circle, e.g. if there are no-shows, we’ll still circle — we’ll just have more time to gather socially after. Or pull tarot cards. Or drink more tea…
-
YES! Unless a circle explicitly states otherwise, you are very much welcome.
-
Unless a circle explicitly invites men, I’m afraid that the answer is no.
However, I love you and am honored that you’d like to join us. If there’s enough interest, I’m very open to facilitating an all-genders talking circle…or one for brothers only.
