We gather in circle to remember who we are.

Many forces are at play to keep us from belonging to any genuine semblance of community in this day and age, but we’re changing that one women’s circle at a time.

Welcome, sister. My name's Kristi, & I'm a Sacred Circle Facilitator.

For women who crave sisterhood & space to be themselves.

Did you know that the European Witch Trials helped pave the way for capitalism to take route?

Prior to these events and those that immediately foreshadowed them, European women trusted that they could lean on each other for community and support.

the witch’s wound is real, sister.

The burnings at the stake, the torture, and the hangings for simply being a woman still reside in our collective consciousness.

In circle, we begin to heal.

We reclaim our right to take up space. We courageously share what’s on our minds and in our hearts, daring to trust our sisters to hold our words with confidence. It’s fucking beautiful.

  • “The community of women I found through this circle has helped me feel witnessed and safely held. I have felt my self-esteem grow after each circle. I feel more ME than ever. Kristi is not only a wonderful facilitator, she is a delightful, beautiful and totally badass human.”

    — Madi R.

  • “Kristi is just herself, and that allows authenticity to permeate the circles she holds. What power and beauty that can come from creating space to BE, to share, to connect! Having space like that, shared with others, allowed real learning and growth for me personally. I am so grateful!”

    — Julie B.

  • “Gathering with sisters is masterfully facilitated by Kristi. The sacredness of the circle is held with each sister being able to share from her own experience and what is important to her in the present. It's wonderful to be in a space that is non-judgmental, accepting, and also has boundaries so that everyone feels welcome.”

    — Goddess Sherry

  • “The sister circles bring me life, grounding, and community. I am able to be my true authentic self and feel seen by my sisters. I always look forward to the circles and never feel like they’re just one more thing on my list that I have to do.”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I am not a student of history, but Professor Emeritus and long-time feminist activist Silvia Federici is. Her book Caliban and the Witch is absolutely chilling and focuses on the role that these witch hunts had in the transition from feudalism to capitalism in Europe.

  • The membership circles I facilitate begin with a welcoming and intros/check-ins. From there, we take a few moments to get grounded and centered, followed by the collective reading of our sacred circling agreements. These agreements form the container of our circle and are super important.

Then, I’ll share a reading and a reflection prompt, and we’ll go around the circle, with each sister having equal time to share, without interruption. This makes up the bulk of our circle. Once each sister has shared, we do the same simple reflection (indoors) or burn-and-release (outdoors) ritual each time, and we end with a short popcorn-style debrief and group hug. Everything is always optional.

I sometimes offer one-off circles and virtual circles, and these may or may not follow the same format. Also, the membership circle format is subject to minor changes.

  • These are inclusive women’s circles, and we welcome our sisters and kin who may not feel welcome in other spaces. If you question whether or not this includes you, please don’t hesitate to ask!

Just no men or children. Psst, we love you, though!

    ABOUT OUR PRACTICES

We don’t engage in any practices that are overtly witchy or earth-based, but some of our readings are sourced from Indigenous healers (e.g. Asha Frost), witches (e.g. Danielle Dulsky), and spiritual teachers. I also provide decks of oracle and tarot cards for those who partake, but they’re not really a part of our circles.

  • If you need financial assistance and none is offered as an option at checkout, please email me at kristi@kristiamdahl.com. In most cases, I’d be happy to work with you!

  • I hold most circles at my home in Chicago, which is close to Pulaski & Foster. It is accessible by public transit and is just north of the I-90/I-94 split.

If you would like to invite me to facilitate a sacred circle in your space, please drop me a line so that we can discuss what you have in mind. Thanks!

I do occasionally offer virtual circles via Zoom.

Sacred Circle Facilitation Masterclass

I don’t actively promote this on-demand offering because it has a more instructional vibe than what feels aligned for me. And, its branding is dated. But it does contain the nuts and bolts of how to gather women in sacred circle.

  • This course is hosted on Thinkific and costs $200.

  • If you require more accessible pricing, please contact me.

  • You can view the first lesson for free to see if it’s right for you.

“Kristi has created an excellent and generous course for imagining, designing and implementing circles. The course is short, easy to follow and complete! Kristi offers a comprehensive, empowering, supportive and intentional step by step approach to holding circles. This course is an amazing value, and I know I will refer back to it often as a resource.
